Welcome to the
Pacific NorthWest Chapter of the United States Lighthouse Society

The Pacific NW Chapter of the United States Lighthouse Society was established on April 24, 1994 in Newport, Oregon to assist with keeping Oregon's Lighthouse monuments of history alive, as well as their legends and lore.

• The specific purposes of the Pacific NW Chapter are to:

   

• 1) Support the United States Lighthouse Society, our parent organization.
• 2) Assist with the restoration and preservation of historic Oregon lighthouses and Lightships.
• 3) Provide financial assistance for Lighthouse groups.
• 4) Provide labor for the physical preservation of lighthouses and lightships as needed.
• 5) Serve as a means of education and communication among all those who care about the lighthouses.
• 6) Provide to members and the general public periodic news with historical and current information about Oregon lighthouses and related activities.
